There appears to be 6 commits in the 2.x dev branch since the alpha5 release in the first half of 2020. The latest dev commit from September 2020 (https://git.drupalcode.org/project/fast_404/-/commit/5382a99) adjusts the module for Drupal 9 support.
Are there any blocking issues stopping the release of the 6 dev commits? If not, would it be possible to have commit 5382a993 tagged as alpha6 and released so the module (well, alpha version) is officially Drupal 9 compatible?

kristen polAh, yes. My mistake :) Thanks for pointing that out @saurabh-2k17.
The last commit was over a year ago which was the one for the D9 compatibility. Before that, it had been a few months since a commit.
It might be good for someone to apply for co-maintainership to get a D9 release created. I don't see any requests for this. Perhaps I'll do that tomorrow.
