Hi all. I can get a forum up and running, but i find it difficult to manage it. 2 issues i would like to clear:

1. i'm using the subscriptions module, and basically i want a group of users to be subscribed to a particular forum. I couldnt figure out how to subscribe my users myself (no interface), so I did it manually in my database. this i can bear, i think it should be pretty easy to write something to do this. however, am i right to say that users subscribed to a forum, will still not be notified when there are replies to the posts (in the form of comments?). or is this juz a problem for me?

2. am i right to say that the comments (to a forum post) cannot be attached with a file?
