Issue tags: +Cannot reproduce the issue. I created a new webform and added some checkboxes in that form and marked them as required. The asterisks are showing in the front end. Can you please provide the steps to reproduce or share some relevant screenshots?

Alright then, this needs steps to reproduce. Perhaps only a certain theme does not render them.

Are you able to reproduce this issue using the Bartik theme?

I am almost 99% sure this is a theme-related issue. Please reopen this issue, if it is not a theme-related issue.

I use a barrio subtheme and can't switch to bartik...

Perhaps #3104674: No form-required class on required checkbox labels. Webform would take this on as a bug if you could reproduce it in Bartik.

I'm not able to switch to Bartik. I changed the CSS to fix this issue.
