Problem/Motivation

We have a member, HA006, on our organization page (https://www.drupal.org/kodamera-ab) that we want to remove since he hasn't been working for us since 2012.

Since I've found similar issues (for example https://www.drupal.org/project/site_moderators/issues/3194959) I post a request here, in hopes it can be solved.

Kind regards,
Adam, on behalf of Kodamera

Hi Adam,

As you probably saw in that issue, most moderators can't do this. Can you in the first instance reach out to the user and ask them if they can remove the current organisation tick in their profile - that should resolve it.

In the mean time, if anyone with full admin rights here can do this I am sure they will comment here :-)

I removed the user from the organization, as requested.
The user hasn't logged in on drupal.org in the past 5 years (and more). Probably, contacting him would not have resolved the issue in few time.

Thank you @kiamlaluno. Very appreciated.

@dubs We've contacted the user several times over the last year, but he doesn't want to remove himself/doesn't feel the need, I don't know. That's why I made this issue.

I find it odd that organizations can't choose who is employed, and that it's the either way around. Basically, I could add that I work for Acquia if I wanted to boost my Drupal-cred. Do you know if there's anyone pushing for a change in this behaviour?

I agree.

AFAIK, no. You could open up a feature request issue here: https://www.drupal.org/project/drupalorg
