Release notes

We decided to extend the the minimal support of 8.x-1.x until 2021-12-31. This should be enough time to upgrade to 4.x.

The minimal support throughout 2021 will NOT cover

  • Guaranteed compatibility to the latest versions of Solarium and Search API
  • New or back ported features to 8.x-1.x

Nevertheless it is recommended to upgrade to 4.x as soon as possible.
If you upgrade, be aware that you already missed almost 5 years of development and frequent releases of Search API Solr 8.x-2.x and 8.x-3.x.
