Dear maintainers,
The Frequently Asked Questions module is being used on some 1000 sites at least on Drupal 8.
There are Drupal 9 compatibility issues. You can see them on the following ticket(s):
#3101966: Drupal 9 Deprecated Code Report
If you unable to maintain the module to fix these issues, I'm willing to get maintain it so we release the D9 version ASAP.
If you're able to, it would be great if you can please review the patch provided in the ticket(s).
Note that we're using this module as part of the Varbase distribution. So it's of vital importance to us to get it to Drupal 9. That's why we're willing to maintain the module if you're unable to.
Thanks!

avpadernoThe title name needs to contain the project name, to make it visible on the general list of nodes.

pifagorHello @mohammed-j-razem
Both this and other modules require more patch testing.
If you want to help, there is a lot of work that can be done without the rights of a co-maintainer.
mohammed j. razem@pifagor Indeed they do. I agree that "there is a lot of work that can be done without the rights of a co-maintainer".
There's a number of RTBC and Needs Review issues that needs testing and checking. I'd love to test them and do more patches (and sponsor/dedicate some time from our team at Vardot to do so).
But if the maintainer is not even responding to any of these issues, I think this would be a waste of time. We'd rather work on these issues when I know I can review and commit without being blocked for days and days because the maintainer is not responding.

If this is true, then the query makes sense.
mohammed j. razem@kiamlaluno The issue has been opened for 2 weeks now with no response what so ever from the maintainer.
I also sent the maintainer @vijaycs85 using the Contact Form. No response.
I'd very much appreciate an action from Drupal webmasters. We're using this module in our distribution (Varbase) and we'd like to release a D9 version. Therefore, I'm happy to maintain the module and assign some time from our team at Vardot to do so.

gisleMohammed J. Razem,
thank you for offering to maintain this project and solve the Drupal 9 issues. Thank you also for providing a checklist. I prefer to have it in the issue summary, so I've copied it there.
The project has a lot of co-maintainers, but vijaycs85 is the only one with permission to administer maintainers.
As vijaycs85 is still active in the community, I've sent him this PM today:
Postponing for now. Please set back to active if there is no public response from vijaycs85 in two weeks.
