For about four years I have had a site hosted with Opensourcehost.com. At first, I was very happy with them - a bit expensive, but incredibly reactive support which really knew their stuff technically.
Thanks to this, I now have a site which is running Drupal using a common codebase to handle a dozen different subdomains.
Over the last year or so, however, the support has been getting worse and worse. Latest casualty, my crontab table which got hosed with no warning following THEIR system upgrades. "Better" still, when I asked them to restore the crontab (and provided the backup table for them to do this) they said no, I have to do it myself in Cpanel - line by line! I think that a hosting company which cannot provide even this level of support does not deserve to keep its customers.
Now they are refusing to continue support for my common codebase installation - which I currently handle using symlinks. So I am beginning to look for another hosting company that offers proper tech support, and that knows what a common codebase installation is, and can handle it.
Can anyone give me any recommendations?
