Dear Drupal Community,

we have a problem

hass former co-maintainer in de and maintainer of piwik analytics for Drupal is currently blocked. So we lost a maintainer in de and the only active maintainer of https://www.drupal.org/project/matomo

The simple question is what now. Will the module be abandoned now forever Does someone work on a solution. Are there anyone willing to continue the work on this.

Motomo Analytics former Piwik Analytics is the only solution out there close to GDPR and compatible with Drupal.

As long as the Maintainer of the Drupal Module is blocked and we do not find a new one Motomo will continue development and therefore not longer be supported for Drupal.

What do we do now?

PS: I'd like to prefer Matomo Analytics over Google Analytics. I am not a programmer and can't take over the project. but who can do? Last patch 6 Months ago.

Please see this page for the procedure reporting a project as no longer supported.

By reporting it as no longer supported, it will be listed as needing a new maintainer and other people may want to take over.

I am marking this support request as "Fixed" as there is nothing the webmasters can do about this except point to the correct procedure for getting a new project maintainer onboard.
