Hello,

Migrating to Drupal 8 - I find a new restriction - in Views filter - Taxonomy term field cannot be more than 128 characters.....

In Drupal 7 I never had seen such a restriction, or it was more longer.... I could easily put some 15 Taxonomy Terms, without a problem....

Now - I can not put in Views filter 15 Terms....

not in row, due to 128 character limit, and not in several separate filters - I get Null outcome, if I try to add several Taxonomy fields one by one with additional terms....

How to add 15 terms in Views filter now, in Drupal 8?!

Hi, 

 i tried in drupal 8.6 with Views filter, i can add more than 15 terms in Views filter with exposed filter as drop-down as well as Auto complete. Can you explain your views with more details or steps?

Steps:

1. Configure filter criterion: Content: Has taxonomy terms (with depth)

2. Error: Select terms from vocabulary Category cannot be longer than 128 characters but is currently 133 characters long

I'm trying to pass the 128 character limit as well, where you able to find a solution?

Click on the "Settings" for the filter.  Scroll to the bottom of the settings form and select "Dropdown" instead of "Autocomplete".  Now the terms are presented to you as a select box, and you can choose as many as you like.
