Dear community,

I'm a new Mac osx owner, Could someone please give me advice about the best setup for a local drupal development?

I used to develop under Ubuntu, I will prefer to not work on Software like MAMP (Pro etc...).

Hi Hermann, "best setup" is of course relative to your specific needs, but I would recommend Lando: https://thinktandem.io/lando/

Look at Xampp also (https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html)

and  MAMP (https://www.mamp.info/en/)

for Drupal7 https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/local-server-setup/mac-os-developmen.... If you use PHP7 as given in the document then you can install Drupal8.
