steinmb commented#77245: Provide a common API for displaying JavaScript messages just got committed
Comment #6
dmsmidtThat is correct, and I'm very happy about that. However there is currently no way of mixing server side generated messages with client side JS messages and influencing each other. It has been left out of scope of that issue. So we still need a follow up to allow for that mix.

quietone commentedI don't see in the IS or the comments what this issue is postponed on.
Can someone please update the IS and comment on what needs to happen before work can continue on this issue.
Thanks.

Figure out if this is within the scope of this issue (ie. there will be no generic way to do this, IFE just needs to figure this out for themselves) or if a generic issue should be created for this that IFE can then use.
