When I deinstall the "thunder base theme" (because I use another one for the frontend) then I receive a WSOD if I view an article. The HTML looks like this then:
<div class="field field--name-field-paragraphs field--type-entity-reference-revisions field--label-hidden field__items">
<div class="field__item"> <div class="paragraph paragraph--type--media paragraph--view-mode--default">
<div class="field field--name-field-media field--type-entity-reference field--label-hidden field--entity-reference-target-type-media clearfix">
<ul class='links field__items'>
<li><article class="media media-image view-mode-default">
<div class="blazy field field--name-field-image field--type-image field--label-hidden field__item" data-blazy="">
Also re-installing of the "thunder base theme" is not working also, it shows the following error message, when to trying to enable it (via the frontend)
Unable to install thunder_base, image.style.media_image, image.style.media_image_mobile, image.style.media_image_tablet already exist in active configuration.

chr.fritschI have opened an issue in the blazy issue queue #2871085: Exception if configured image style does not exist anymore to fix that bug.
Additionally we should remove all configuration on uninstall, to make it possible to reinstall the theme.

chr.fritschWe added that patch and moved the image styles into the optional folder in
https://github.com/BurdaMagazinOrg/thunder-distribution/commit/6512b31ae...
So this issue should be fixed in the next release, which will arrive soon
