Same issue as simple FB connect module (see #2841887: Install fails if DRUPAL_ROOT is /web/) and fortunately there is a working patch there. Uploading the same patch here shortly. Thanks

Thanks for your contributions.

I have committed the patch. What do you think about a method in Social Auth which can be called to check if requirements are made instead of hard coding this same thing in every implementer? At least as long as #2494073: Prevent modules which have unmet Composer dependencies from being installed is not fixed.
