There are a few usages of ! as a placeholder. The ! placeholder was removed quite some time ago. So replacing it with @.

looks good, manually tested the patch , seems ok, let it simmer in 8.x-1.x dev branch.
I'll throw this in the 8.x-1.x branch for now.
