I think this is a major shift from the common practice that a module's title and namespace are the same. This change would benefit site builders while adding a little more confusion to developers.
If Drupal core does decide to use the 'Forms' namespace using the name 'Forms' within this module's menu links and page titles could cause some problems.

jrockowitz commentedOne immediate issue is that all tokens would have to remain as [yamlform] and [yamlform-submission]

jrockowitz commentedThis change has actually improved my personal user experience, while navigating around my own module. So I going to commit to this change and we can gradually fix any minor editorial issues as they come up.
My gut says that Drupal core won't occupy the 'Forms' namespace until Drupal 9.x which won't be for a few years. When and if there is a naming conflict with the 'Forms' namespace, the YAML Form module's menu links and breadcrumbs will need to be changed to back "YAML Forms". Within the module it will still be okay to refer to forms as 'Forms' and submissions as 'Submissions'.
