Subject matter violation on Planet Drupal

We had this dance in the past. I've suspended the feed and purged it. Going to try to reach out to them.

BTW it's a spotlight on an existing staff member, not a new hire posting :p But the report is correct, it shouldn't be going to the Planet.

We do provide a tag that is Drupal Planet specific. It is 'drupal'. Please do not change our feed, I will discuss it with marketing,.

EDIT: Here is the tag being used for Drupal Planet. https://www.mediacurrent.com/tags/drupal. I have discussed this with the marketing team and they understand now. Please let me know what else I can do to assist.

This issue exactly highlights why having a dedicated tag for the Planet is much better than having a generic Drupal tag.
Re @markie: If you insist on leaving it at that I am going to bring your feed back as is. But if problems arise again we need to have this talk again, too. ;)
Mediacurrent is one of the main content providers for the Planet (perhaps even the most prolific) so getting this right is important. If you think this issue is solved and your marketing folks are aware of what kind of content is suitable for the Planet we can go on with the old feed.

That all said: It seems the "Drupal" feed is https://www.mediacurrent.com/taxonomy/term/26/feed but the feed currently used is http://www.mediacurrent.com/blog/feed. Is https://www.drupal.org/node/1915406#comment-7866139 still correct then?

Yeah, it definitely shouldn't be using /blog/feed :-(

@dddave Thanks for your understanding. I would like to update the url to 'https://www.mediacurrent.com/blog/drupal-planet/feed'. I am not sure who set this up previously but /blog/feed/ should be all of our blog items. Please let me know what I need to do to make the switch or if this will suffice. Thanks
