I noticed this post on the Planet feed http://www.mediacurrent.com/blog/meet-erin-bush which holds arguably zero interesting info for the broader audience. Upon checking the source page https://drupal.org/aggregator/sources/392 it appeared that MediaCurrent is still using an unspecific "Drupal" feed instead of a feed using a dedicated tag or another mechanism to better control which content goes onto the Planet. Although most of the content is valuable I would very much appreciated if MediaCurrent could provide a cleaner feed.
The issue was raised by Adam Waid himself last year #1915406: Update MediaCurrent feed url but only incompletely addressed. I've contacted Adam Waid and pointed him here.

No reaction from Adam but instead another employee spotlight. I've suspended the feed for now until Mediacurrent provides a feed without those spotlights. I'll contact Adam a second time about this.

The latest spotlight is gone and I hope no further ones will come up. Older ones may remain in the feed but they are already burried so I don't think that should hinder bringing back the feed.
