I saw that Dries updated CVS with a fix for the above bug -- but I am not sure how get an apply the fix. I have a new, relatively vanilla Drupal 4.2.o site.

Any help here would be appreciated!

Thanks!

There is a user permission called bypass input data check which lets you control whether the input checking should be enabled or disabled for a given user role.

Dries,

Forgive my ignorance, but I do not understand this. Is there not an updated file that I need? I cannot seem to find the user permissions, and check this for all three user roles (anonymous, authenticated, and admin). But what I am running is not as a user (yet). I am running http://www.valuesplanet.com/drupal/cron.php when I get the following error:
terminated request because of suspicious input data

The bug that was "fixed" seemed to be consistent with this error -- but I do not seem to understand what I need to do to get this fix, and apply it.
Thanks,
