I already have a Invision powerboard board database. Once i enable Drupal on my site, can i transfer the dtatbase to drupal forums?

I'm also thinking about coverting from IPB to Drupal.

I have quite a large forum with lots of members and topics. I don't even want to think about how people will react if all this is gone just because I decided to go from IPB to Drupal. I've been testing Drupal out for some time now and I like it a lot, but I really need to be able get the members and forum topics into the Drupal installation.

Is there anyone out there who has succeeded in doing so?
