The version isn't really maintained anymore. There are a bunch of patches marked as needing to be ported that could just be marked fixed in 7.x-1.x instead. Anyone object?

Current usage statistics show 441 sites using 7.x-2.x, which has been slowly declining the last couple of weeks.

I propose two weeks for this, if no feedback, I'll go ahead and mark this unsupported and close/fix the issues.

I'm probably one of the few that still uses / maintains 7.x-2.x and I don't have any objection ;)
