[encrypt] Encrypt

There's at least some code (not sure how well it's working cos I didn't test it), so moving to "needs work."

Hi,I am a 3rd year under graduate student at IIT kanpur(india).I am doing a course on Modern Cryptography under professor Manindra Agrawal this semester.Till now i have learnt about some basic encryption systems, DES and AES.This Encrypt module is based on Mcrypt AES as far I know.I know php,c/c++,basic sql Languages.I am a member of drupal for 3 months.I have completed drupalladder for Gsoc students and want to work on this module as Gsoc 2016 project.Would someone like to mentor me on this project.

I have a requirement to provide reliable encryption for a d8 project. How close is this to being approved by the security advisory group, do you know? Or is there a preferred module for d8?
