Hi,

I am a noob to the whole views concept and need some direction. Views slideshow does exactly what i'm looking for. I want a video slideshow based on a playlist from Google & Youtube urls embedded in a block. I have uploaded and activated all the relevant modules and have tried to follow the instructions left on the support pages for Views Slideshow.

However, when i get to the instructions about creating a view and from there creating the content, i get completely lost.

Can anyone explain in idiot's terms how i can make this slideshow happen.

I just want to create something like the video slideshow in a block on the left hand side on drupal hub www.drupalhub.org ....... shame there isn't a how to guide ......

Were you able to recreate this type of slideshow? I need a main image with thumbnail previews to also navigate the show. Any luck?

No ... in the end i got hold of an external flash program , pasted the embedded html code into drupal and voila ....

Much easier (for me anyway)

You can do this using the wijering flash player amongst other things.

A site that provides contributed flash programs is www.flashden.net
