I am cutting back on maintainership of Contrib modules, and I would like to find someone to take over maintaining the Simple Google Maps module:

This module is fairly simple and it rarely if ever has bug reports (just feature requests mostly). It is just a field formatter, and there is already a Drupal 8 port.

Rahul: I never heard back from you, and in the meantime, martin107 started actually supplying patches and doing the work of a maintainer on this module. So, I promoted him to Maintainer. If you are still interested, you can contact him and see if he would like help, or you can always start supplying patches for issues. Thanks for your interest!
