The module seesm quite interesting ! Hope to test it soon !

Tested with beta 10 core / dev & beta-2 of the module :

Fatal error: Class 'Drupal\Component\Utility\String' not found in /home/s6dd838d25145399/www/sites/default/modules/edit_ui/edit_ui.module on line 40

API has certainly changed again : it seems it no longer exists.

Ok fixed & commit (in dev), here is the patch for information.

Another JS API change has to be fixed :
DrupalBehaviorError: attach ; editUiToolbar: Drupal.ajax() function must be called with one configuration object only
