The existing documentation does provide some additional context in that it specifies the data will be potentially "altered by alter hooks". I am not sure if that qualifies as useful or different enough to not use an {@inheritdoc}; would love to hear from others.

This issue is being reviewed by the kind folks in Slack, #need-reveiw-queue. We are working to keep the size of Needs Review queue [2700+ issues] to around 400 (1 month or less), following Review a patch or merge require as a guide.

Agree that an @inheritdoc could be used but there are some documentation, as mentioned, that we may want to preserve.
