Greetings,
I am looking for a new platform to replace my Joomla platform as it is causing me a great deal of grief. I am unsure however how to figure out if my host will work or not. I am using Hostmonster. Does anyone know if Drupal will work properly on that host?
I'm also wondering if there is any way to import a current website into the new platform.
Thanks for any information it is appreciated.

HostMonster is worth trying
As for whether HostMonster is a good Drupal host, you should check whether it offers the latest PHP version, MySQL version, Apache version, enough PHP memory_limit (at least 68MB), suPHP utilization and mod_rewrite installation. Of course, its price, feature offerings, support and performance.
Personally, I didn't use the web hosting offered by HostMonster, but I have found that many review sites view this company positively. Here is a example for reference: https://drupalhosts.org/hostmonster-drupal-hosting-review-promotion/.
wondering if my hosting server will work for Drupal
Yes, you have to check their details and user review.
I will suggest you to try Varnish Friendly hosting for your drupal.
I found Cloudways (Free trial) and Acquia. These two is best for you.
