yeap, me too:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function uuid_sync_all() in /sites/all/modules/contrib/uuid/uuid.install on line 49

Just to clarify, the function is neither in the install file nor in uuid.entity.inc which is included in the install file.

However, it can be found in ./uuid.inc:43:function uuid_sync_all(), so it's just missing an include or the included file is wrong?

I had this happen to me on the first install. I found a fix, removed it, and tried to verify that it would break again, but I wasn't able to reproduce it a second time.

Regardless, here's a patch that should prevent this from coming up again.

Thanks for the patch, alexdmccabe.

In my case, I was able to work around this issue without patching by rebuilding the registry.
