I am using Advanced Forum. Was using the Comment notify, Notifications, and forum notifications until I had the same new forum topic post being sent out with every cron.
Deleted the nodes author's user account (because it has happened another time with same user when she posted a comment), the node that was being emailed as a notification, and I disabled all notification modules. I also disabled cron so it would stop sending.

I switched over to the rules module to send the emails when a new forum topic was saved to a new role I created. Then... The same thing happened in the rules email... the same node went out.

I don't get it... Help please. I looked in the database and cannot find the node.

I believe this particular user had crazy fingers when it came to the submit button. Went into the database found the duplicate posts in the Cache Form table and cleared them out. So far no more dups. :)
