To reduces the amount of steps to manage a group

Instead of the admin having to click on
the admin tab and then approve new members

Just have it same as facebook
a block on the group home page.

With block that show's people who have
requested to join the group

Just click add or block button.

Hey there Charles!

I am thinking of something like this as well :)

I'm currently pretty busy with other projects, but I'll try to get some blocks/content panes in the module so you can really make your own group page the way you like.
