I need to have a link toward the top of my page content that links to a section (in a block) lower down the page with smooth scrolling.

I have installed Scroll to destination anchors and Back to Top modules, but neither accomplish what I need.

Scroll to destination anchors works as expected, but only within a single piece of content. I need to link from the page content to a block toward the bottom and have it scroll smoothly down the page.

Any help much appreciated.

I found a solution in the Scroll to destination anchors module:

This module modifies the default behavior of destination anchor links such as Main content so that users will be smoothly scrolled to the destination instead of immediately being jumped.

I didn't realize that any content with an ID (#) would work for the link. I thought it was only for anchor links within the body field.
