I have a quick question, I probably miss a something in the configuration.

When I hover my mouse cursor on the image/video's thumbnail in the library, I could not see the preview.
Is there any configuration that I miss ?

I think you need to install the qtip module.
Take care of choosing version 7.x-1.x of qtip module. Version 7.x-2.x breaks the DnD library because of dependencies except if you patch qtip.module (see #2242679: Breaking modules making a library with qtip as dependency)

There is really nothing that could be fixed in Scald, so I'm closing this issue.

When waiting for qtip, a stop gap solution is to implement hook_library_alter() in a custom module to remove dependency on qtip from dnd library.

Just for people running into this issue. You have two solutions to make library preview work :
* use the 1.x version of the qtip module
* use the 2.x version of the qtip module with patch in #2242679 AND libraries module enabled (and a bit of CSS/qtip config to do)

Yes It is fixed in the dev release of the qtip module.

You can ask in their issue queue if there is any plan to create a new stable release.
