I want to place a node reference field on specific content types that can be used by the page author to add content to the page. I would like the author to be able to filter the nodes in the dropdown list via taxonomy. Is this possible?
The node reference field will target one content type. Since all of the content is similar in structure but may be very different in content I don’t want everything to be simply dumped in the same bucket. Is there a way to include a taxonomy field dropdown and that field will then filter what shows up in the node reference field just to keep that field from becoming unwieldy?
