Modifications in Author Pane disregarded by AF

D7.20, AF 7.x-2.1

I had "Last seen", "Joined" and "Points" commented out in Author Pane tpl. But after the AF upgrade to the latest version, this is no longer taken in consideration and all these fields are displayed again.
My stupid question is why? And of course - how to hide them again?
