College of Engineering at San Jose State University

I am the web developer and webmaster for the College of Engineering and San Jose State University.

Key Features:
Image Galleries using image and imagecache modules with lightbox.js (not the drupal module)
Video Podcasts using the video module (with DSS) along with jquery tabs and qtobject.js
Flash slideshows and animations (all provide degraded non-flash versions using ufo.js)
Calendaring using the calendar module
Per Section color scheme

Planned Feature implementations:
Forum for Faculty and Students, and Commenting with Authentication to an LDAP database
Research database with publications, presentations, and conference attending (a tremendous amount of data for a college this large)

Tech Specs:
CentOS with Apache 2.0.52 and PHP 5.1.4 and Drupal 5.2

Nice Site, font hard to read

Sweet site! I just moved about three blocks from the school and so was excited to see that the site was Drupal driven.

I must say that I had a hard time with the readability of the font though. I ended up hitting F12 and changing the font to Arial... Much nicer. Helvetica Neue, the present font, doesn't render well for me. The letters all appear squished together. Perhaps that font looks better using larger font-sizes, not sure. But at its present size (80% = 13px) it doesn't look good.

I just created a new group on Drupal.og called San Jose: http://groups.drupal.org/san-jose. It would be great to have you in that group! I would love to donate some time to helping you out at SJSU as I just moved to the area and am in desperate need of new nerd friends here!
