When I toggle HTML source in HTMLarea, the whole text area turns blank instead of showing the source code- before this process ends, I see a message that says "Tidying up HTML Source..." and then, poof, everything is blank.

Any suggestions?

The source I want to see is for a simple, single-row, single-column table with a coloured background that shows up fine in the text area when using WYSIWYG mode, but disappears otherwise.

What is your OS and browser?

Have you tried an alternative Browser like Firefox or at least try a different machine to see if it is reproducible.

Since it is all Javascript... it is a client side issue, but could be based on a server side config.

I am using Firefox 1.0 on Win XP.

For the time being, I am turning the HTML area module on and off to see the code- a real pain, as you can guess.

I will try it on a different machine and see how it goes.
