Can someone please explain to me how to achieve a highlighted column, such as that used in the drupal forums under td.active. I have been to http://drupal.org/node/6863, read through it, but I am using 4.5.0. As the the above link shows, the issue is far older than my drupal version and is already solved for 4.5.0, yet I cannot for the life of me manage to create this effect. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Just set some CSS styles on td.active. If they are not applying, then you have some other styles which are overriding them.

If I understand what you are saying correctly, it comes default, out-of-the-box ready. I have set different styles, such as background color and padding...they work fine. However, I cannot get the highlight effect. Is there a particular style setting I need to set for this? For example, a particular color value or display value?
