Hi all,
I have a date field with the option to show an end date. When I use the option, the display of that field shows "1981 to 2001". It's the 'to' I have a problem with: in Dutch the word is 'tot', and I would prefer to show a dash ( - ) instead. I have found no way to manipulate that 'to'. Is there anyone who can help me with this? It is doing my head in, I've searched for this everywhere but a solution is so hard to find.

You can do that In Configuration >Regional and Language >Translate Interface >Traslate

Search for = !start-date to !end-date, when you find it click on "Edit" at the right.

Now In your language field(In my case it says Español, cause I am Colombian), I put this = !start-date al !end-date, but you can put = !start-date tot !end-date.

I am assuming you have your language installed before.
