Hi, Some of my description metatags are huge, as they are taken from very lengthy cck fields.
What would be the best way to control the character length of the token?

If you know some PHP, you can use Custom Tokens to create your own token.

thanks, i have that module installed, i suppose a node teaser token with a character limit imposed on the teaser length would work...
