We use Imagecache to serve a Primary photo for each article that we publish. At the moment, Pinterest users are not able to pin a photo from our articles. Also, I noticed this primary image also does not have the EXIF icon from Google Chrome like other images that are not using imagecache to serve the image.

Any ideas on how we can get our primary image to be pin-able by Pinterest users?

For those who do not know, Pinterest is a very large photo liking network. Large media outlets are now reporting more users come to their website from Pinterest than from Facebook. Anyone have a fix?

Got it fixed. Here is my code:

<a class="addthis_button_pinterest" pi:pinit:<?php print $node_abs_url; ?>  pi:pinit:media=<?php print file_create_url(file_directory_path() .'/imagecache/520x320/'. drupal_urlencode(_imagecache_strip_file_directory($node->field_image[0]['filepath'])));
?> pi:pinit:layout="horizontal" style="padding-right:10px;margin-top:-2px;"></a>
