Here is our latest site. There is a lot going on behind the scenes for wholesale clients, but unless you want to buy lots of furniture you won't get to see that :)

Menu
How you made this drop down menu? Is it some contributed module?

No its just some CSS and the
No its just some CSS and the 'son of suckerfish' javascript to kick IE6 into gear RE element hovers. If you google 'son of suckerfish' you will find a good tutorial on how to implement this sort of menu.

Looks great!
What drupal modules / techniques did you use for the embedded gallery per this link:
http://www.furnitureoptions.com.au/projects/restaurants+cafes/alure+rest...
What i mean is do you have to hard code the images for the slide show on every page or are they automatically pulled into the theme as attachments or some other method when the node is displayed?
And same question for how you created a grid of images for your product doorway pages per:
http://www.furnitureoptions.com.au/products/stools/indoor
Are your individual product pages custom modules or cck content types per:
http://www.furnitureoptions.com.au/products/stools/indoor/butterfly+bar+...
Finally, how did you do your primary navigation? It's a js menu but is that via a drupal module or a paste in js from the web? And is the primary menu based on the menu system primary nav block or did you hard code that menu into the theme.
thanks.. good work

What drupal modules / techniques did you use for the embedded gallery per this link:
This was done with cck imagefield, imagecache (for the thumbs and resizing) and a custom implementation of slideshow.module. It basically just grabs all images in the 'slideshow_images' array (cck imagefield), resizes them accordingly (imagecache) and then uses them in the slideshow (custom slideshow).
And same question for how you created a grid of images for your product doorway pages per:
This is just a view that uses a taxonomy term (in this case indoor stools) and imagecache for the thumbnail. Imagecache just uses the first image from the product slideshow array and resizes it to a thumbnail.
Are your individual product pages custom modules or cck content types per:
cck content types
Finally, how did you do your primary navigation?
Although it may look like a js menu, that js is only there to make IE6 behave as it should. In all good browsers it works without that script (it is the 'son of suckerfish' script incidentally). It is otherwise just all CSS. It is not a module, just custom CSS applied to the primary links block.
We have a few other sites to be released shortly so I will post them soon.
Cheers

Followups
thanks for the replies alex:
1) I imagine the imagefield is set to 'multiple' so that you can create as many images as you want per node right?
2) if i disable js, the cck node still pages the images that were normally in the gallery. how did you make the cck node tpl display and append the slide parameter to the url:
e.g. on this link:
http://www.furnitureoptions.com.au/products/stools/outdoor/bilbao+stool?...
this slide key value pair gets added automagically:
?slide=1 (2, 3, etc)
3) for the product doorway view pages you describe above, did you use the grid "type" or some other view type.
4) it looks like the site use SFR replacement tech. i've never done that but am wanting to try it. Any thoughts on your experiences with using it (plusses / drawbacks) and also if it's possible to disable it so you can see what the site looks like without the technique?
thanks, i really appreciate it
1) correct 2) if you look at
1) correct
2) if you look at the slideshow.module you will see that it degrades gracefully (Eg if there is no javascript it just loads each new image as a new page)
3) This is just a 'teaser' view with the content-type.tpl.php files modified to suit the layout.
4) Yes it does. The sIFR module makes it very simple to implement this technique. You can disable it by disabling javascript and/or in the admin. As far as when to apply it; it really depends on the case. I would never personally use it for hyperlinks or anything other than 'key words' (like the page title). It is a little slow to load IMO but some clients insist on it. I would also only use it over simple backgrounds as transparency is an issue in certain browsers.

Hi, I really love your
Hi, I really love your design. I'm doing a similar project and I was just wondering how you set your taxonomies.
Also, would you mind sharing with me how to make the process of adding a new product/project as simple as possible? How does your client add a new project?
How does a product/project display links of related projects/products?
Thanks!
Me too ... very nice
Me too ... very nice furniture site indeed. I am in the process of developing one almost the same as this one. A kind of tutorial; modules used specially for the products & how they were implemented and interwoven would be much appreciated. I'm a newbie to drupal and somewhat at a loss where to begin. I would be willing to shell out a few $$$ for any help.
Thanks!
beautiful site
Notice it says 'Site by Angela Bonfato Creative + Spoon Media'...did they do the graphic design and you did the coding?
I've put a post on the 'general discussion' board about choosing a Drupal designer, I'm a little confused about choosing a one-stop-shop or a designer/coder combo...any comments below my post would be greatly appreciated.
I really like the website
I really like the website design, and the first picture of that really nice living room furniture sucks me right in. I’m now trapped in thinking about purchasing some nice new chairs for my workplace.
