Hi,

I have a Drupal 7.9 installation with Meta tags (quick) 7.x-2.2

I'm trying to put some keywords in the forum pages
(sample url: www.mysite.com/forum/4)

In the section "path-based metatags" I've set the path "forum/4";
but when I navigate to that page the keywords are not present.

Since forums are taxonomy categories, I tried going to the corresponding
taxonomy term:
www.mysite.com/taxonomy/term/4
and there I see the keywords.

... obviously I need the keywords in the forum page (not in the taxonomy term page),
so my question is:

is there any option to have a url like
www.mysite.com/forum/4
showing keywords?

Thank you in advance,
regards
Marco

Hi Marco,
path-based meta tags work only on pages that do not represent fieldable entities (reason for this - much better support of added data by "native" D7 entities).
Taxonomy term is a fieldable entity, so you can achieve your goal and attach fields to forum categories either in taxonomy admin page (admin/structure/taxonomy//fields) or using meta tags (quick) admin at admin/config/search/metatags_quick

Thank you for your reply,
based on your suggestions I've done the following:

admin/structure/taxonomy/edit vocabulary Forums/manage fields
--> fileds meta_keywords and meta_description are present

admin/configuration/metatags quick settings/tab "general"/paragraph "taxonomy term"
--> checked "Forums"

admin/structure/taxonomy/list terms of "Forums"/edit of forum "my forum"
--> set keywords and description in the metatags fields

Then I navigated to the forum "my forum",
but in the source code metatags are not present
