This module was developed by my request for my sites.
I (my clients) did not agree to distribute this module in the public.

I demand that the author's return my money for this work.

GPL allows developer distribute module under GPL license and you know that. And it was said that ordered module belongs to me and it's code too, before my work on module. And I receive money for my work only. + There was no NDA while module was written
That's why I have all my rights to the module code and right to distribute module under the GPL notice with my copyrights.

The work for your money was completely done.

UPDATE. Also I have information that pvasili was going to sell my module without my copyrights on code but I've published it erlier on d.o.
UPDATE2. For pvasili was written code for 6.x only. 7.x code completely rewritten

Спасибо тебе Вася.

My understanding is all code that interacts with GPL licensed software must also be GPL licensed. By implication, all code (custom or otherwise) that is written for Drupal is GPL licensed and your claims of copyright infringement are not applicable.

Suppose this case should be reviewed in webmasters queue

@pvasili, can you provide a signed contract/agreement that shows that you have the *explicit* right to decide the license for this code? By default, the code belongs to the author and may be licensed GPL by the author.

ilya1st’s picture

no contract, no ageement
and before writing module it was said that I write my module under GPL and publish to drupal.org when I need do that.

pvasili just going violate GPL licence by distributing my module to third party without my copyrights.

Just read GPL.

Notice also that such demands are off-topic here: Drupal.org is not a court.

Ilya - you liar.

You have done this job for money of the customer.
You did not specify the customer.

I and my customer does not give you consent to distribute the module free of charge.
Your module is only used by this customer and he has your copyright.

You can use this module in public, then return money spent by the sponsor for its development.
You make yourself advertising on money the customer :(.

read GPL first. and stop lie yourself.
It was said that module is written under GPL(b.t.w I have no rights write module under another license).
And all rights belong to me.

All it was told before I've written this code.

In case of NDA or other agreements I do not publish code on drupal.org.
I your case were not addiitonal agreements about rights for code and all they stayed mine. And all that was told.

Your rights are yours. I am not violating the rights of the author.

You worked on an order for the money.
You have received a fee for this work.
Terms of orders have been - not to publish the work publicly.
You published this module without permission and without giving the sponsor!
You can return the money for this work and then publish the module in public.

This thread is not for you, please, do not close it and do not change the status!

There is nothing we as the webmasters team can do here.

We do not know the details of the case (and I am not sure we want to know them).

Please settle this in a court and let us know what they say.

@bertboerland, it hasn't been re-opened - the status is still "Closed (won't fix)". To me. it looks like kiamlaluno is doing a spring cleaning of the web-masters queue, transferring anything that has anything to do with licensing, including closed issues, to the LWG issue queue.
