I've installed http://yadadrop.com/drupal-video/drupal-7-media-gallery-field-demo
gallery media field and related required modules.

Media works fine but no further details on this tutorial are provide on

http://drupal.org/project/media.

however cannot get the Gallery tab appearing next to MEDIA Tab.

then I cannot get the Media Import breadcrumb as per youtube movie.

If I type the path n/content/media/import I get the menu ok. why this?

this module is great I've patched the file entity which looks ok now but still ?? why I've a different setup than the TUTORIAL.

media module is a moving target. Which version is in use?

I-ve downloaded media by the link above in my post and followed instruction. did not find anything else out than a tutorial on youtube with relation to Gallery . was thinking tough that was integrated with the Mdia module but apparently it is not.

if you can provide support so I can fix it.

There are two versions of media on the link you posted. 1.x and 2.x which is why I posed the question about version.

Reading the project page and following the links to media addons' located this http://drupal.org/project/media_gallery

media just recently has a code sprint, I'd highly suggest following up in the issue queue of the module in question.
