"Add new comment" link on forum topic disappeared (Danblog) [#1241260]

I've done quite a lot of customisation of the Danblog theme and it seems that I've managed to stop the "add new comment" link from displaying in the forum topics.

See for example http://www.thoughtcat.com/fitnessrocks/content/whats-your-ideal-weight - under the original forum topic there's no "add new comment" link so it's not possible to reply to the topic.

It was OK after I first installed the theme because I made some test replies/comments, which can be seen on that page (replying to an existing reply is still OK), plus I've done a clean install of Danblog on another test site and the link is appearing OK on that. I've also tried using the forum above in an unmodified Garland theme and again the link is OK there.

I've looked everywhere in the general settings and permissions as well as in the CSS but can't see what I might have changed to make this disappear. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Make sure do not remove this in node.tpl.php

    <?php if ($links): ?>
      <div class="links"><?php print $links; ?></div>
    <?php endif; ?>

Brilliant! Thanks so much. I *had* removed that code from the node template because I have node-based, teaser-based views which were showing the related $links and I didn't want them to appear...

EDIT: I've sorted it - I'd forgotten there was an option in the node settings in the view to show the links or not. I've unticked this box for these particular views and now the forum links are OK and I'm not getting the unwanted links in the node teasers.

With all the growing enthusiasm for that sport, the wearing of usa soccer jerseys has become far more of a style statement, particularly one of the school youth. The craze of wearing cheap soccer uniforms, even so, is not only restricted towards the youth, as people today of age groups have been observed happily sporting us world cup jersey in the various matches.
