Hello, everyone. I did a search first, I didn't see anything, I hope I'm not asking a question for which the answer is blatantly obvious to everyone but me (grin).

I have been creating 'pages' on my new Drupal site, with 'Full HTML' enabled. I was using my PC at home to do the work - running Linux/Firefox. Everything looks great. HTML gets rendered as I intended.

However, I go into work and look at the same page from IE 6.0, and it seems to be ignoring all HTML. No formatting information, everything is one big paragraph without line breaks, paragraphs, bolding, or images.

Here is an example of the page I am having trouble with:

There *should* be lots of formatting present - but all I am seeing at the moment is one big run-on block of text, and the image source in the middle is gone. From Firefox, it all looks great, though.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Wiggy

FWIW, it's just one big block of text in Firefox 1.5 on Mac, also. No clues, alas, other than to make sure you've selected the proper input format in the radio button beneath text entry box. Does the display change depending on which user role is viewing?

Check your input formats in the filters section and make sure you haven't turned off the varies filters for the various formats - if that makes sense!

Actually, I'm a little unclear on that. Can you give me a newbie cluebie?

Administer > Site Configuration > Input Formats

Go to 'configure' for Full HTML

I'm not sure if that's the problem though if it renders correctly on your home pc. IS that the same whether you're logged in or not?

It's showing as one continuous block of text at this end, in both ie and ff.

That fixed it, thanks! However - I did not need to do this for Firefox on my home PC, and I am logged in the same way in both places. Perhaps a bug? I had not seen this interface before, so I doubt I somehow changed it accidentally.

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to have a look at this!

I'm checking the "Input Format" and it definitely says "Full HTML" - that being the third choice, after the default "Filtered HTML" and then "PHP Code." So it appears not to be filters.

I appreciate your taking the time to look at the page. I wish I knew why it was not displaying my html. When I 'Edit' the page, it does show all the HTML markup tags.

No love so far...
