Hi all,

We just relaunched Criticalsole.com. It is an online magazine about sneakers, hoops, gadgets, and style with a social networking like backend. Each user has their own blogs, their own sneaker collection, as well as the ability to post their own classified ads so they can buy, sell, or trade their sneakers.

Any feedback is totally welcome. We're particularly looking for feedback with the layout.

So what Theme are you using as I see a foliage_logo.jpg?

I notice that images overlap type on the right at the top - maybe I am just a little critical about that.

For comment settings you should be careful as I have had turn most of mine off as you can find yourself spending half a day deleting spam - folks just don't respect trusting sites - they are dirt bags as I don't spam on Drupal! - I think a flash header of action shots will bring more life to the site and I would also like to commend you on your use of blocks.
What modules did you use? I am personally researching how to use a flash logo instead of the default - i am taking flash courses right now. I plan to offer some flash version
themes in the next little bit - plus it is good to show how easily Drupal themes integrate with flash.

It is so easy making your site better and Drupal has such large number of great souls willing to help each, other it really shows the strength of open source.

thanks alot for the feedback, that was super helpful. I actually had a question. I've checked most browsers and I haven't seen the image over text (that bugs me too) so if you could let me know which browser you are using that would be super helpful.

Also I'm using a heavily mod'ed version of the foliage theme, though I wouldn't even really call it the foliage theme anymore.

Criticalsole.com rolls on Drupal!

I am on fire fox on a tiger platform.

Could you send me a copy of your CSS for foliage so i can compare it with the original file. I am working on drop down menus as well and would love to see other variations of that particular theme.

I am off for a very winter photo shoot...
