We are recent converts to the Drupal movement but we’re interested in testing the limits of the platform. Based on what we’ve read we think Drupal has tremendous potential but we need people to help us realize it. We are currently looking for a small number of highly skilled Drupal developers to help us build what we believe will be the largest and most advanced Drupal site around.

If you’re interested in learning more, here are some more details about our organization and our goals.

ABOUT US:

If open source software is made stronger by peer review and testing why don't we subject news reports to the same kind of scrutiny? Well, we think you should. In fact, we think that it is already happening. We also believe – like many of you probably do – that blogs and online communities are proving their value as an essential ingredient in this process.

But we believe that the open source news movement has only just begun. We want to unite the world of blogs with the world of camera phones. The power of bloggers to transform the world of news when combined with the proliferation of wireless technology is profound. As wireless and Internet technologies mature it is inevitable that reports and stories about our world will increasingly come to us from an emerging army of volunteers and citizen reporters. Our site is where you will see these stories first.

There will be plenty of challenges both technical and conceptual. Our aims are both commercial and altruistic. We believe that Drupal can help us tap into the collective intelligence of the masses. We believe in the wisdom of crowds. We believe in leveraging the newest ideas in computing and design. Our team is comprised of seasoned Internet and design veterans who have proven track records in building successful start ups. If you’re looking for a big challenge with an interesting organization please pass your contact information on to us.
