The flag content module allows users to flag nodes as offensive for the adminstrator to review. In this version you can

  • Set different email addresses per node type
  • Set flagging availability by node, works with CCK
  • Set a global administrator email address
  • Give a reason for the flag
  • Give a comment and further explaination for a flag
  • Flag comments as well as nodes
  • Control access to administration links

An email is sent to the administrator or other users email (Bcc) to notify them who flagged what. The flagged nodes are also queued for the administrator to review. They can edit, delete or unflag the node or comment.

I will send in a patch on this later. I have other work that I am behind on and could use some help testing usability and goodness forbid, Bugs!.

Hi

There is already a module that does that, called "flag content".

Instead of duplicating effort, can you please review the one in the repository and submit patches and improvements to it?

Thanks

unfortunatly it does not work with drupal 5.0

Nope, you will never see me rush to update or create a module for the latest version of Drupal. I always wait to see what happens in the months that follow to see stability. It is unfortunate that this means that Drupal has changed into something else during that period.

But I want things that work over a long period and not cutting edge. So I am okay with that.

Good thinking. So you are thinking that stability shows its weakneses over a period of time. It doesnt change all that much over a few months I guess so good luck.

These features are exactly what I need!! Have they made their way to the Flag content module??

All of this can be done with the Flag module, which customizes to the specific contextual need (abuse flagging, friend flagging, content flagging, etc.)
