This is on a site upgraded from 5.x-1.x-dev. I have confirmed that there are ads in the channels in question, and resaved some manually.

I'm unable to duplicate this. Can you first press the "Reset" button in the "Only show ads where" block on the admin overview page, then select a single channel from the list and confirm that it still doesn't work?

I will continue reviewing and see if I can see some way that this might break.

It seems there is an issue with ads that are in multiple channels. Are you advertisements in multiple channels? Debugging.

It turned out to be bug in the join built by the filter. It should now work. Here's the commit.
