Facet Type Tray brings the content type categories from Type Tray into your site search. Visitors filter results by category, such as "News" or "Resources", and can then narrow down to a single content type.
Editors already group content types in Type Tray. This module reuses those categories and their order for the search facet, so there is no second list to maintain.
Requirements
Works with nodes. Content types without a category are listed on their own.
Getting started
Install with composer require drupal/facet_type_tray, add the Type Tray processor to your Search API index and create a facet on the new field. The README walks through the setup.
